These songs, which are rooted in the oral traditiion, allow a wide range of renditions. The ensemble is composed of five musicians with varied musical interests and experience (classical, jazz, pop, etc.) and presents its songs as a meeting of ancient musical genres, traditional music and contemporary music while relying both on instrumental techniques inspired by popular music and on improvisation. |
