Stefan Heidtmann studied piano at the conservatory in Cologne. Projects as a pianist and composer between contemporary chamber music and open European jazz brought him together with Gerd Dudek, Reiner Winterschladen, Dieter Manderscheid, Vitold Rek, among others. With his Stefan Heidtmann Project he was a prize-winner at the “jazz a r t” festival in 2002. And with this ensemble he has toured and performed at important festivals, e.g. at the Euro-Jazz Festival in Mexico City in 2002. Christoph Spendel is the prototype crossover jazz musician - who is equally at home with the Bebop tradition, crossover Fusion and European Classical Music. Brought up by his mother, a classical piano instructor, he received his first piano lessons at the age of five and later a firm grounding in formal music education at the Robert-Schumann-Institut in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This interesting group is from St. Lucia but share their time between the tropics and Toronto. They mix up the sound world using a sitar on some tracks to replace guitar. They list their influences as Alanis Morissette, Britney Spears and Kula Shaker.
