    Thomas Lanners, a native of Chicago, has appeared as a soloist and collaborative pianist throughout the United States and abroad, presenting his New York solo debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in October of 2004. His performances have been broadcast nationally and internationally on programs such as National Public Radio’s Performance Today and RTE Radio 1’s Sunday Miscellany in Ireland. He currently serves as a Professor of Piano at Oklahoma State University.

    Scott Morris gave his New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall in April of 1998. A former student of some of the world’s greatest guitarists such as Scott Tennant, Sharon Isbin, Benjamin Verdery, William Kanengeiser, Pepe Romero, John Dearman and Jack Sanders, Scott is now a respected performer in his own right. He has studied at Yale University, the USC Thornton School of Music, the Aspen Music Festival, the Mozarteum (Salzburg, Austria) and Claremont Graduate University from which he holds the degree of Doctorate of Musical Arts. He has been the winner of numerous awards and competitions from the American String Teachers Association, Claremont Graduate University, Artists International, the Aspen Music Festival, CSU Summer Arts, the Glendale Symphony, the USC Thornton School of Music and the Yale School of Music.

  • Katie Wolfe, violin; Adrienne Kim, piano
    Violinist Katie Wolfe leads an intriguing career mix as a soloist, recording artist, chamber musician, orchestral leader and adjudicator. She has performed in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, the Soviet Union, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. She also shares her passion for music as a teacher. Originally from Minnesota, she joined the string faculty of The University of Iowa in 2004 as Associate Professor of Violin. Prior to teaching in Iowa, Ms. Wolfe taught violin, viola, and chamber music at Oklahoma State University. She also served as Associate Concertmaster of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

Lanners’ latest recording, Ned Rorem: The Three Piano Sonatas, was released in 2007 on Centaur Records. The disc has received much critical praise, including the following quotes from critic Mark Lehman’s review in American Record Guide: “It’s especially pleasing to have all three of Rorem’s sonatas on one disc, superbly played by Thomas Lanners, and in clear, vivid sound. … Anyone who cares about mainstream 20th Century piano music should seek out this superlative recording.” Thomas was awarded a grant from the Aaron Copland Fund for Music Recording in New York to record these works by the Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer. His previous CD, Touches of Bernstein: The Complete Published Piano Music of Leonard Bernstein, was released by Centaur in 2005.
